Which Google Products are Available?

The 2023 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid, and other coming vehicles equipped with Google Built-In, will be able to access Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Play, and Google Cloud’s Speech-to-Text capability. This will expand the capability of these services from an owner’s home or compatible device to their properly equipped Honda vehicle.

Furthermore, even if someone uses an iPhone or other smartphone platform, they may also be able to use these apps if their devices are compatible.

What Can You Do With Google Built-In?

At this point, we should all know how dangerous distracted driving is for us, and other people on the road. The most important feature offered by the Google Built-In suite is the ability to use the phone, making calls and sending texts, without ever needing to take our hands off the steering wheel. In addition to composing messages, the speech recognition technology will also allow the driver to manipulate various compatible apps – again without having to take your hands off the steering wheel.

Google Assistant will allow users to turn their lights on before getting out of the car, truck or SUV, so they don’t have to walk into a dark home.
