Exterior
Rugged & Refined Design
The Honda Pilot has always deftly split the difference between rugged capability and sophisticated refinement. That is very much on display in the 2023 model with a litany of special features, including an all-new one-touch power panoramic moonroof.
TrailSport Features
Owners of previous Honda Pilot models certainly aren’t strangers to off-road environments. The all-new TrailSport differs from the standard 2023 Pilot model in a few different ways, including:
- Additional height
- Additional width
- And a trim-specific grille design.
Clear Camera Views
Having cameras surrounding a vehicle to give drivers a better view of the area isn’t new. However, versions of the 2023 Honda Pilot with the multi-view camera system will also be equipped with the capability to clear the lenses of debris and dirt.

Performance & Capability
Engine Efficiency
Honda has improved the performance specs offered by the 2023 Pilot. It uses a similar naturally aspirated 3.5-litre, V-6 engine. However, it makes an additional five horsepower, topping out at 285 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. All trims use a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Automatic AWD
Incredible capability is built right into the 2023 Honda Pilot. In order to help drivers confidently and safely handle just about anything Mother Nature can dish out. The Honda all-wheel drive system can send an increase in torque to a slipping wheel to help maintain traction.
Stout Towing Capacity
Depending on how the 2023 Honda Pilot is equipped, it will be able to tow up to 1,588 kg (3,500 lbs.) or as much as 2,268 kg (5,000 lbs.). If towing is a top priority, make sure to ask about the automaker’s available 2023 Pilot towing accessories.

Technology
Digital Device Integration
Bannister Honda customers will be able to choose between a 7- or 9-inch touchscreen display in the 2023 Pilot, depending on which trim grade they choose. All models are compatible with both the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto suites of applications.
Digital Driver Information Centre
Traditional analog gauges have been replaced by a 7-inch colour TFT driver information display. Not only will this show the vehicle’s speed and tachometer, but drivers will also be able to monitor fuel consumption, media features, and navigation.
In-Vehicle PA System
There is a lot of space inside the 2023 Honda Pilot. It can be difficult for people in the back to hear the driver — especially if they are arguing back there. The CabinTalk™ In-Car PA system uses a microphone in the steering wheel and the audio systems speakers to get the point across to people in the rear seats.
Safety
Active Safety Technology
Advanced Honda safety technology has changed the automotive safety landscape. Honda Sensing® technology is a comprehensive suite of active safety systems that will help drivers avoid potentially dangerous situations. Honda Sensing® includes:
- Collision Mitigation Braking
- Forward Collision Warning
- Lane Departure Warning
- Lane Keep Assist
