Wall Outlet (Level 1)
Level 1 charging is the basic form of vehicle charging through a conventional wall outlet. While it’s the slowest form of charging, you’ll always have a way to provide power to your vehicle. If you are driving a plug-in hybrid, it is possible that Level 1 charging is all you really need, as Level 1 charging will fully recharge most plug-in hybrids on the market overnight. Future Honda vehicles such as the Prologue will utilize this charging capability.
EV Station (Level 2)
The more common form of vehicle charging, the EV stations are considered Level 2 chargers, and include everything from public charging stations to dedicated at-home chargers. Charging systems are standardized across North America, so all EV vehicles can use any EV charger. Take advantage of the robust public charging network across Vernon, Kelowna, and the rest of the Okanagan area to power your BC road trips.
