Honda Adds New Tech, Sleek Style to 2023 Accord

The 2023 Honda Accord has been updated for the 2023 model year.

What’s New for the 2023 Honda Accord?

A lot of automakers have all but abandoned the sedan class. Honda doesn’t believe in leaving anyone behind and has continued to develop, improve and refine its flagship platform, the Accord. For the current 2023 model year, our manufacturing partner has given the Honda Accord a bit of a makeover, delivering a sleeker exterior silhouette, modernized interior and, for buyers choosing the hybrid model, a more athletic powertrain. Follow along with Bannister Honda while we take a closer look at what is new for the 2023 Honda Accord.

More Advanced Connectivity

The updates Honda made to the new infotainment system available in some 2023 Accord models are arguably the most exciting new feature. Bannister Honda customers choosing the 2023 Honda Accord Touring (and Touring Hybrid) will get a 12.3-inch colour touchscreen, the largest such screen ever used in the nameplate. The updated Honda infotainment system is also programmed with Google Built-In technology, giving drivers and passengers nearly unprecedented access to a broad range of Google products, including email and navigation.

Additionally, the top-of-the-line Touring model will be equipped with:

  • 6-inch HUD
  • 12-speaker Bose audio system
  • Wireless device charging tray
  • High-speed 5G Wi-Fi hotspot

New Sleek Exterior

When a Bannister Honda customer comes into our showroom for the first time to take a look at the 2023 Honda Accord, they will notice some interesting changes to the sedan’s exterior. The 2023 model year represents the 11th-generation of the Accord platform. It is longer and sleeker with more athletic and dynamic proportions. Also, the 2023 Accord uses the Honda global architecture platform, which is reported to improve safety, handling responsiveness and overall driving refinement.

Improved Hybrid System

Bannister Honda customers choosing the hybrid version of the 2023 Accord will also be getting more power to work with. Some hybrid trims will be equipped with a more powerful two-motor hybrid system, making 204 horsepower and an additional 15 pound-feet of torque than the previous Accord generation.
